Artist Bio
Bahareh Shahrabi Farahani is a candidate in the Master of Fine Art program at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is the recipient of the Lucy Neider scholarship. She earned her Bachelor in Art in Visual Art with minors in interior design, photography, book illustration and an Advanced Degree in Persian calligraphy in her country of origin, Iran. Farahani is currently interested in painting, printing on fabric and installation art. Farahani has exhibited her works in solo, group and juried exhibitions throughout Iran, the Middle East and the United States.

ReplyDeleteThanks Su! I thought about this idea when I was working on my tapestries for my midway exhibition and thought to develop and incorporate the idea of installation later. I am so fascinated with the atmospheric quality created by this artist's installation.
